STEPS TO ENROLLMENT FOR VISITING STUDENTS
A visiting student is one who enrolls in classes at ǿմý while pursuing a degree at another institution. Before enrolling in classes, check with your academic advisor at your college or university to ensure the classes you take at ǿմý will transfer and count toward your degree.
FIVE STEPS TO ENROLLMENT AS A VISITING STUDENT
- . You will receive a welcome letter with your ǿմý ID# once this form has been processed.
- Set up your ǿմý eStorm and ǿմý email accounts. You will receive instructions on how to set those up in the welcome letter from step 1.
- Submit proof of residency (if you have not provided proof previously). See residency information for details.
- Submit the Visiting Student Form via eSTORM. To do this, log in to -> Forms & Resources Homepage -> Enrollment Services Forms -> Add Visiting Student Form.
- Make sure to include each course you intend to take at ǿմý, including section/class number. Attach any transcripts (can be unofficial) needed to meet requisites for those courses.
- Register for classes and pay tuition in person or online by logging in to and going to your Student Center.
Please note:
- If you already have a ǿմý ID# and attended ǿմý in a prior term, you may skip to step no. 4 in the list above.
- If the courses you wish to enroll in require proof of high school geometry or chemistry, you must submit a high school transcript. This file can be attached when submitting the Visiting Student Approval Form in eStorm.
- You will receive a follow-up communication to your ǿմý student email account regarding the approval of your request. If you have questions regarding the status of your request, please email records@swic.edu.
